Triangle Tales 340 subwoofer goes to sleep…

I hooked up a new pair of Triangle Tales 340 sub to Primare l15 through pre-amp. The subwoofer goes to standby mode and turns itself off in 15 minutes each time. I have been told it might have been receiving bad electrical signal. My amp has no other available connection for the sub. Does anybody have any idea?

The key point is that many class D amps are wired in such a way that certain sub connections aren’t possible, so great care is needed.

Yes i did exactly as it is said. The sub goes for standby in 15min. still. Interesting 😕

Did you mean to say a new *pair* when referring to the subs? Do you have a single sub?

Either way, you could raise a helpdesk query at Primare - they are very helpful. But your sub might be faulty I suppose.

It seems it is certainly a signal issue from your preamp as the automatic cut off on this subwoofer is set to 15 minutes.
does it work at all when you are playing music? I mean does it cut off in 15 minutes whatever you are doing?
