Transfering AVI files to DVD

Heya,

I've recorded some videos from a camera and it's recorded on an AVI format, but I want to view this on Sony LED smart TV via a DVD.

Is there a way to transfer AVI videos onto a readable TV format via a DVD?

Any help appreciated, thanks.

Plenty of free software to convert to compatible format. Recommend AVS for VERY cheap software dor audio & video etc

Others will recommend free stuff but if u need dependable apps for the future I have found avs great inc support if necessary. I paid a few pounds for lifwtime updates.
