Hey guys ive seen disney are doing a nice deal with bogof on their products, but could anyone tell how good the transfer is on toy story one and 2 on blue-ray is.

Can only comment on TS1 (yet to get round to watching the sequel!) and so far I'd say top marks.

In fact, I'd say it shows up the CGI as a bit dated - I saw quite a few jagged edges on Woody, and objects/characters didn't quite look like they were properly in contact with the ground. Kind of hard to explain exactly what I mean.

But the motion is superb, and the extra detail looks great. It might have just been me, but the colours looked like they 'popped' more than the dvd version.

Got mine from dvd.co.uk about a week ago, they were £1 cheaper than Play.com, but the delivery took longer (4 days. I normally get Play.com stuff in 2/3)

Just after watching TS1 I put Monsters Inc on - the improvement in CGI is amazing, it really has come a long way!

mrlizard- I know what you mean about the colours. I compared them with the old region1 box set. The old movies seem very pale, almost pastel colour like compared to the Blu-ray versions.

They are vey good, also the sound is amazing and they have some amazing features on them as well. They are in my top 5 blu rays.
