I am thinking about buying the Toshiba 42Z3030D , any reviews on this item

Also what does 24 fps with 5:5 pull down ?

So is 5:5 pulldown better then normal 24P

5:5 pull down means that each frame is repeated 5 times per second, driving the display at 120Hz ..... for true 24fps display with no juddering then the refresh of the monitor needs to be a multiple of 24hz in this case 120hz.

Most TV sets operate at 50 or 60hz normally...which isnt a multiple of 24, this uses 3:2 pulldown typically to convert the 24hz to 50 or 60, this causes juddering in the playback, there is plenty of discussion on this forum as to how noticable this is when watching movies.
