Toshiba HD Player

I would like to buy a High Definition player, which Toshiba handles all the HD sound formats (bitstream to the amplifier)

Bit confusing on the exact spec for the EP30 and EP35 in this respect (some say 'core' only for DTS HD)

Help would be appreciated

You need a HD-EP35, if you are going to buy one.

I own an EP-10, and as I am aware the only unit that will bitstream audio out in the way that you want is the XE-1 model.

i could be wrong on this - just trying to find the source but sure i remeber reading somewhere that you can flash the firmware in the ep30 and con it into believing its an ep35 and then it ouputs bitstream audio in the same way

just googled it and there is loads of info on as mentioned above
