What's your track most played on your MP3 player? And is it your favourite track of all time?

 Mine is John Mayer - No Such Thing

This is not my favourite track of all time and would not even be in my top 5 but it is a clear winner by 10 plays.

So I'm wondering if everyone's MP3 player has the same results.

i haven't had an ipod for long so this can't be an accurate representation of what i listen to

My old Creative Zen touch had a funny knack of picking a John Mayer or Sarah McClachlan track within the first ten tracks after a new shuffle was started. This was out of 2500 or so tracks.

On my classic it is;

1 - Holes, Mercury Rev

2 - Viva La Vida, Coldplay

3 - Downside-up, Peter Gabriel

4 = Low, Coldplay = In the time of the turning, Peter Gabriel = Med Sud I Erum, Sigur Ros

On my nano it is

1 - Philadelphia, Bruce Springstein

2 - Higher than the Sun, Primal Scream

3 - Heroes, David Bowie

4 - Low, Coldplay (again)

Favourite track is Run Like Hell, Pink Floyd, which is in the top 10 on both.

My top played tune is Hayling by FC Kahuna. Nowhere near my favourite ever track, but rather relaxing so maybe thats why its at the top of my chart.

Does the play count in iTunes count just the tracks it plays, or the total combined with the iPod? is there any way you can find out how many tracks the iPod has played on its own? Sadly I deleted a cookie 40 days ago and had to re-sync the 'Pod, so now my highest play count stands at 57. If that's just iTunes then I'm a little worried!

Top Most Played on my ipod seems to reflect a recent penchant for Maximo Park (all theirs unless stated):

1 - Karaoke Plays

2 - Bookes from boxes

3 - girls who plays guitars

4 - william it was really nothing - The Smiths

5 - bend and break - Keane

6 - your urge

7 - panic - The Smiths

8 - our velocity

9 - bigmouth strikes again - The Smiths

10 - I got you - Split Enz

Wasn't aware I'd listened to The Smith so much for them to be so well represented. Haven't listened much on Shuffle for a while but I do recall some odd results for Most Listened when I did - I only have one Nick Drake track and it crops up A LOT -
