Interesting to see that it would appear that time virtually stopped for many people on December 31st 1979 .

I think that`s a bit unfair. `Bad For Good` from my list was released as late as 1981!

I made sure I qualified my post to take into account any later albums that might have slipped in unnoticed !

Happy listening .

Marillion-Brave

Nice one saintsboy, that's my favourite Marillion album, and I guess that makes it my favourite album full stop! I think my top ten would be almost entirely Marillion. Currently enjoying Less Is More.

p.s. I do play other music, honestly!

Macspur,

I still say girls and boys is better, but listening to everybody right now and I've got to say this is one exceptional recording. Ingrid is truly the queen of indie pop.

Hi Jaxwired,
It really is a close run thing, Ijust wish she'd hurry up and release another disc! Have you ever heard anything by Priscilla Ahn? she has a voice very similar to Ingrid, although her music is a little more relaxed.

Yes, I have her first album "A Good Day" and have enjoyed it many times. I believe she just release another one which I passed on. Maybe I should take another look at it?

I agree, she's like a mellower version of Ingrid, but Ingrid is in a league of her own. Her music is so creative and unique. She adds complexity in a very organized and musical way. Love it.
