Too much bass in my place

I have purchased the Onkyo 605 AV amp, hooked up to the Kef's 3005 surround speaker system..... I calibrated the setup with the mic, and the bass seems to be very heavy, especially when watching a DVD. How can i solve this problem???

Just go into the speaker settings menu and turn the subwoofer down a few dBs
