Just ripped my first flac file using windows media it’s pretty easy and now streaming my album I’ve ripped through my Yamaha wxc50 with no issues

this is the trouble I do buy a lot of CDs still but been watching the loudness war thing on YouTube and what ever you buy on cd is heavily compressed .

So is the streaming.

So glad I've never had, never will have, anything to do with Apple or Tidal.

CD ripper? EAC. The end result is as good as it gets.
