Hi guys.

I primarily stream from tidal from my macbook pro, often the songs just stop and i need to press play or restart the song again, very irritating. Anyone know how to fix this?

Does the music track stop at the end or in the middle of the track?

How do you get the Tidal stream to your macbook? If it is via Wi-Fi can you check if it still occurs if you used a wired connection? If this works fine, then go through your wi-fi settings, try a different band or just try different channels, that usually sorts it out.

Go to Utilities > System Information > Wi-fi to see what channel you are on and more importantly what other systems close to you are set on, most people use the 2.4Ghz band, try a channel (36 and up) on the 5Ghz band.

This would happen randomly for certain periods of time, both in Windows 7 and 10. When I used Wimp (the original before Tidal) I had no such issues and when I had to switch to Tidal it all began the very second I started using it. Freezes, dropouts, slow loading, albums and playlist not working, music stopping in the middle and never being able to continue even after refresh or restart. And after a period of time it would just all work normal without issues. So now when Tidal has problems I just curse and wait it out.

Only thing more frustrating than this is their search engine and dissabled right click options. :)

I get the occasional freeze, but only when using Airplay. It's more likely to be my AV control app disagreeing with the Tidal app rather than the Tidal app itself.

Have you double-checked you're using the latest version? I know my Windows PC updated the Tidal software recently, not sure whether this affected Mac too?
