I've got 5 thunder flies stuck behind my lcd screen between the back light and it's doing my head in. Thinking of going for a Panasonic TX-P42G10B. Do plasmas suffer from thunder flies?

I've got a couple of thunderflies trapped in my computer LCD but I've had the panny plasma for over a year now without any problem.

Do you mean Fruit Flies - the tiny ones that hang around your home brew wine?

They are really annoying, my tomato plants attract them.

Er.. wouldn't it be slightly cheaper to, say, get them out? If you can't do it yourself, I'm sure a local repair man/woman would do it for less than £50.

Been in contact with Sharp technical and to remove them would damage the panel by the way it is designed, which means a replacement panel. I was told it would be cheaper to replace the set.
