This is on sale at futureshop.co.uk for £45 not £70 for the 2m length, is this a good deal as I am just about to get my first home cinema system and am shopping for HDMI cables

Sounds a great deal- if you need a 2m cable. Don't buy longer than you need just to feel you've got a deal.

I think I've just answered my own question, upon further reading this cable can handle 1080p up to 7.5m. I will now buy the 5m length just to be safe for another £10.

If your trying to say ALL HDMIs are the same (Which I suspect you are), then id have to say your wrong as I can easily tell differences on mysetup from cheap rubbish to something decent
