The Real world Cup is?

Who will do the better at showing the matches.

Day One!

ITV HD 1 BBC HD 0

ITV HD Great pictures very clear and vibrant.

BBC HD Great pictures again clear and vibrant, however . Sound and Picture loss in the first half.

Looking forward to Day Two.

In which case it's Germany 1 England 0

I watched yesterdays matches on Sky Sports HD (Germany) and the BBC and ITV's attempts at HD were just poor in comparison!!!

ITV HD went to an ad break just before the goal. Most of England missed it!

ITV - I don't want to be told to buy a Hyundai while Stevie G is putting us in front!

Yes the BBC HD are using 5.1 Dolby Digital. And ITV HD are using 2.0 Dolby Digital.

But the BBC HD breaking up sound does not sound to great when you are in fear of any damage to your speakers.

And I have the ITV HD sound running through Dolby Pro-logic II so I get the same effect of 5.1 sound without the nasty break up.

Day Two

ITV HD score a home goal with that rubbish gaff when England scored and we all saw a stunning motor vehicle by KIA!

Just when ITV HD were doing so well, a bit like the goalies gaff.

chudleighpaul:Whoever switched on that advert when England were scoring should be sacked immediatly.

One assumes if the feed is lost for a set amount of time, adverts are automatically triggered, just as most radio stations start playing music automatically as a fall-back if the studio feed is lost.

So it was on the BBC as well? Then you've only yourselves to blame!

Sacking the person who put the advert on at that intense moment is a bit strong.

I'd rather that person be stood against a wall and hung!
hung against a wall? Like a painting?
