i think panasonic know that if this years 3d plasmas dont , at the least , get very close to the kuro with 2d , then they wont get enough buyers ,3d alone may not be enough of a selling point , what with 3ds limited content , and potential teething problems ...

they need 3d to take off , what better way than to provide a tv the equal of a kuro , with 3d , at around £2k ?? how could it not sell ??

i think we may just benefit from their need to get us on their 3d bandwagon ....
