I had a letter from Virgin Media (Midlands) about a month ago saying they were switching off their analogue cable channels yesterday, and I should contact them to arrange to have digital installed. I did nothing, partly because it was weeks away (!), and also because I haven't been watching much TV for the last few months.
Last night, BBC2 and C5 had been replaced with a message about upgrading to digital. I haven't checked today, yet.
I would have expected a reminder, even an email as I am on e-billing. And couldn't they have waited until the new year before turning it off?
