The Best 46 inc LCD/Plasma TV under £1200

Hi Guys!

I am looking for 46 inch TV for my family and my budget is £1200. Mainly it would be used for watching movies only but occasionally for gaming as well.

Can anyone recommend any good TV? I was thinking to buy Sony KDL 46W4500 but have read about clouding and light bleeding issues.

Hi, have a look at the Panasonic TH46-PZ80 or 81 (81 has freesat and one or two other extras), can be picked up for £1000 or even less. Has a great picture, more natural looking than a lot of LCD's and gets a 5 star rating on here. Panasonic are one of the best plasma manufacturers too, so should be a safe bet (at least I hope so as I've just bought one).

My folks have the TH46PZ81 and it is a cracker. If you want freesat HD built in can get it for around £1200, if not get the 80 for around £1000

After a proper demo of the sony and the panasonic in a real demo room i bought the panasonic!
