Thanks for your advise, the DTS neural X mode works my in ceiling speakers like a charm. Unfortunately got locked out of my own thread, so had to start a new one to convey my thanks.
And sadly i dont have a UHD player, though i do have some atmos dics. But tried playing normal music CD's from my pioner bdp-450, upmixed to 5.1.4 in DTS neural X mode. And the sound was stunning. The way the sound enveloped me was uncanny. I was used to a 5.1 setup in my previous house, but the addition of the 4 inceiling speakers has added a new dimension to the sound. And audessey has nailed it in my room. My sis and BIL were over to see my new place, and were very impressed with the sound. It was as close to a theatre as i have heard so far in a house. Very happy with it
I had planned and laid down the wiring for a 7.2.4, but had to settle for a 5.1.4 due to my wife's objections. My subwoofer and centre channel are the weakest links now. Have ordered a new centre channel speaker, but i cant change the sub due to space constraints.
Still fine tuning the sound. I can sense that there are improvements to be made. Very happy so far
