No worries. Make sure you set it up best you can (use CINEMA mode with WARM 2 and NEUTRAL GAMMA, and switch off all advanced options)

Well I understand speakers and headphones need to be run in (moving coils etc.), but don't quite follow how this relates to the actual electronics? Keen to learn but that's confusing! lol

Ive only had my W5500 a few weeks now. When I first switched on the scaler was awful ~ dvd material looked really soft and washed out

A few weeks on and the scaler is FAR better. The science behind it is a very grey area, but its believed its to do with all electronic components and wires etc needing a 'run in' period before they work at their best
