What HiFi Team or anyone please...

I am thinking of purchasing these speakers the THX Ultra System-8 i think, i am pretty sure you reviewed this system only a few months ago, can What HiFi or any one tell me how they fair against the Tannoy Highline-500 speaker system.

I just have afew reservations about parting with money and not knowing what i am getting, as one would normally go and dem a system at this price point, what i have read semms to be very good comments and reviews, but i still have a little doubt, i have to say though they are excellent value for money and look the part.

Can the what HiFi team please tell me if you are going to be reviewing any other of there systems in the future, i have seen and heard the tannoys and i am very impressed with them, but for pretty much the same money the Teufel system does seem on paper at least to be a better option, any thoughts would be appreciated.

We'd take the Tannoy - the Teufel speaker systems we've reviewed so far have been good, but not class-leading

Is it not the case that THX-certfied speakers usually don't sound as good with stereo, as they are designd to meet specific THX criteria?

If being used with a THX amplifier, then in theory THX speakers should sound good with movies, so if that's your main criteria, I would certainly consider the Teufels ..

Teufel means devil in German,

which makes some interesting reading if you put that review through http://ets.freetranslation.com/ - for example:
