Sorry if this has been done before but what pieces of music do you use to either audition new kit or best demonstrate your system?

ABC - The Look of Love is one of my current favourites for this purpose, the transients and drums near the end are crazy.

An 80s journey is always a happy one. Apple Music do some good playlists

BBC Radio 4 or some well-recorded BBC Radio drama. Then one of Trevor Nelson's 'Rhythm Nation' programmes from BBC iPlayer for a mix of soul and reggae etc.

Black Uhuru's 'Dub Factor' album, XTC's 'English Settlement' (probably 'Fly on the Wall'), the 12" extended mix of John Martyn's 'Johnny Too Bad' from 1981, Blur 'Song2', Small Faces 'Lazy Sunday Afternoon' (ah!), Caravan 'In The Land Of Grey & Pink' (whole of 'side 2') and more.

Bach - D-moll Fuge; Chris Jones - Long After You're Gone; Daft Punk - Get Lucky; Dire Straits - Your Latest Trick; DJ Snake - Get Low; Duke Ellington - Black and Tan Fantasy (Live in Swing city); Eagles - Hotel California; Giorgio Moroder - Love Theme from Flashdance; Jean-Michel Jarre - Immortals; Macklemore & Ryan Lewis-Thrift Shop feat. Wanz; Oscar Peterson Trio - You Look Good to Me; Queen - Innuendo; Ronan Hardiman - Gypsy; Tina Turner - Goldeneye; Vangelis - Alpha; Vitalic - Poison Lips; Whitesnake - Is This Love; Woodkid - Run Boy Run
