Terminated speaker cables

In the past I've appreciate your thoughts like Cno etc.. Im in the same boat as you are with regards to (primarily) budget and (space). I have tried diff. cables s/c, int from rca to xlr, copper to silver to silver plated copper, shielded to fairly basic. Just demoed the TQ graphite 2 days ago in my own system against the MIT which I currently owned.. The difference is subtle as (I mean ) not much but there is!

I used to own chord odyssey then epic then tq black..Im a bit puzzled why does chord etc..using screened shielding while others dont. but like TQ which seems to be prone to r/f etc sounds better IMO. "metallurgy" it might be it.

Right.. IMO,.. upgrade your speakers first mate..

Totally agree... the dealer did offer me the chance to try some at home, so it depends how much those flappy things on the side of my head detect, I suppose.

Since he mentioned cables I've toyed with the twisted notion (probably wrong) that a small tweak may give a sonic portal to new speakers. I don't know at this stage, it's a case of 'suck it and see'.
