Tape Input

This may seem like a stupid question but can I put my freeview box through the tape input of my amp in order to listen to the televison through my stereo speakers. Will this do it any harm. All other inputs are used up.

I would say Yes, I used to feed my Sky box to a spare Tape input on my amp and never had a problem. Freeview I would think is the same as a Skybox with 2 phono leads.

Yup this will be fine.

It will be into an Quad 303 if that makes any difference. The disc input being used for a turntable, one radio input for radio and the other radio input for CD with attenuation cable. This only leaves my tape input.
