Aftenoon all,
I am in a position to buy two sets of v4's using them for both fronts and rears.A simple question;good or bad idea?I will also buy the VC centre.Should I also consider the V1's as rears?
Best wishes,

Sorry,

forgot to mention I have to place the rears facing my LP as I have no room at the rear of the sofa.

It looks like everyone is taking an afternoon nap,any reply would be welcome!!

Best wishes,

If your in a position to buy 2 pairs of v4's that would be perfect. but consider this, your rear speakers should idealy be as far back as your front are forward from your listening position. most people dont position their sofa in the middle of the room like yourself you would have virtualy no distance to position the rears away from your so maybe you may want to consider the V1 if you can mount them high up as this will get you some distance. i actually have V1 as my front VR as my rear but this was because my livingroom has to meet certain style requirments(other half) i didnt go for the V4 as my baby boy will be walking soon the last thing i want is for him to break my speakers. you might want to consider the VR if you need your speaker to not be too much of an eyesore for none audiophiles as they mount flush to the wall and arent very deep. one final consideration is how loud you intend to run them. if very very loud, dont consider VR and possibly V1 aswell. i will be selling my VC centre speaker as it came as a package with my V1 and VR but the VC hasnt been opened as i have to stick to my current centre.
