Lol it was my Dads, he says they were really good when he bought them but I cant find any info on them

they are nice. dont you have anything to try them on?

No, I'm thinking of buying an amp to play my iPod through and then using them, but didn't want to buy an amp and then need speakers as well.

Decent little speakers - you'd be looking at least £200/250 to really better them.
