Tannoy F4 custom or Q Acoustics 1030i?

Which are best when it comes to 2 channel stereo playback through my av receiver?

Anyone know?

Both are good, but I'd have the Tannoys if you can still find them at a comparable price to the Qs.

I've had a pair of the Tannoy F4's for about a year and was pretty impressed with them for AV use but now I've switched back to mainly Hi Fi use I found them not so good. I think the review about them needing plenty of space to breathe certainly is true. Luckily I only paid £120 for them from Richer Sounds so am hoping to recoup it all back when I auction them off. I've now bought a pair of Dynaudio DM 2/7 standmounters and the difference is staggering. They seem to be the perfect partners for my Pioneer A400 and Marantz CD63SE.
