You can get the F4 floor standers for £150 at Richers Sounds. Might be worth mixing and matching with Superfi.

Hifix have it for £782, so by the time you get the the four f1 customs and centre and sub it would cost you as much here, you can get all from one place. Add the Yamaha ax863se for £500 and that leaves enough for speaker cables.

Thanks for the tips.

But most importantly of all, are they any good?

You can get the lot for £700 if you order the sub from here - http://www.hiwayhifi.com/site/product.asp?section=1&Cat=42&Sub=178&Prod=25232 - it is rated 4 stars on this site

Get a pair of F1s and FC Centre from Superfi - F1s rated 5 stars

Get the F4s from Richer Sounds - rated 4 stars

I might be interested in this package myself. It's certainly a beefy set up! Can't find any reviews of the whole setup i'm afraid.

A review is actually here - http://whathifi.com/Review/Tannoy-Mercury-F1-Custom-51/

The picture does not show the floor standers so didn't realise it included them. I have seen Clare recommend these a few times.

The f4s dont get a very good review though, I bought the F1 set up but long term I was a little dissapointed. Upgraded it for some kefs Iq5se front 1s rear and iq6 centre.

If you are going for floor standers I would spend a bit more, you will benefit from better stereo sound aswell as with movies. Look at the monitor auido RS6 I think. The b and w set up would be a worth a consider and the investment!

If you are like me you will always wish you had just spent that bit more. Trust me its cheaper in the long run!
