Tannoy Arena Lite

Hi,

I'm just dabbling in this whole home cinema malarkey, and as I'm trying to figure out what I need/want and how much I want to spend, I noticed on one website the "nice looking" Arena Lite surround speakers from Tannoy.

Does anyone use them?

Or anything to say (good or bad) about these?

I really like the shape of them. Are they as compact as they look? Unfortunately I couldn't find the exact dimensions of the speakers (yet).

The other "alternative" options for speakers that I picked up so far were the SFX5.1 (also by Tannoy), or the award-winning Jamo (CS2?).

Which ones would sound best?

I haven't heard them, but have heard good things. You're right, they're gorgeous looking.

The speakers are about six inches tall, if I remember rightly. The dimensions are on the site, anyway.

'Creative audio' are also doing some great deals on amp/speaker combo's, if you're starting from scratch.ÿ

arena liute arent the same as arena are they?? Im looking at systems for a friend at the moment and was considering recommending these as a style package.
