Suitable Tech for elderly people

My 89 year old Grandmother is still using VHS to record TV programmes, and I have persuaded her to invest in a freeview PVR. Obviously it needs to be really easy to use. We all know how confused the elderly get with new tech. Thinking of buying a Humax 9300T. Does anyone know if there are more suitable, and very easy to use PVRs on the market?

My parents, who both have PhDs in sciences, have resolutely failed to work all recording devices, until they got the Virgin cable thingy. They can also work Sky Plus. I would those systems as the benchmark for your PVR.
