suggest upgrade path

can some one give me an idea of a upgrade path for my system this is what i have got

marantz pm4400 , monitor audio RS1 

cord silver screen sp cable , imac, onkyo ds-a1 dock ,

phono monster cable .

and should be adding a outboard dac soon possibly cambridge dacmagic

What sort of upgrade are you looking for FD?

Is it for more detail or more "oomph" in the sound? Also, give us a rough budget and we'll have a think...
