Suggest decent amplifier/audio reciever under $400-$500

Please help. I am no audiofil, but have S90, 3-way speekers with sony DVD player.Want to purchase adecent amplifier/audio reciever ,under $400-$500, for home use. With all your expertise and updated knowhow on technology availibility, pl suggest a best value for money bargain.

I am not sure about S90. Which companies is it? Anyway, in India for less than 20k($500) I would recommend the following :

1. Onkyo CR515 - 18k - This is a CD player as well , but puts out less watts and so, system wont go loud.

2. NAD 325bee - 21k - Wonderful entry level amplifier

3. Cambridge Audio 540A - 18k

I assume you meant stereo amplifiers only.

Thank you very much. I am now in Delhi, Pl also suggest on 3 issues.1. whether some better second-hand stuff could be found out and where? 2.How are you comparing new Onkyo TX SR-576, against my requirement? 3. If I purchase new receiver, should I get it from abroad or could be bought in Delhi?
