Do you usually get a E-mail when your subscription is up for renewal, I have renewed my subscription twice but have never been told when it is up for renewal. It is just done automatically.

Your best bet for subscription enquiries is to call or mail our subs team:

08456 777 813 or

Whathifi@servicehelpline.co.uk

What it is in the shops today, i still have not had mine again, last month i read in a shop before i got it.

Just trying to work out if there is something going on with my post are you guys still sending the subscription mags out early as normal guys?

Thanks

Yep, normally subscription issues are posted out 6 days ahead of on-sale date; with Awards (due, as Andrew says, to deadlines) it's just two days ahead. But they should arrive this morning.

Andrew Everard:Due to tight schedules, the Awards issue went in the post on Wednesday.

Ah that is okay then i was worried with the post because some has gone missing.

Also update Andrew just got it

Looks like my nine months subscription is now up.

I am not to sure i want a pair of headphone though.

Is there any chance you might know what the gift for next months issue might be?

Thanks alot

Just tried the number up above but they don't know what it might be for next month.

Andrew Everard:It's unlikely that they would. These things are set up by our publishing team, and as they're out this afternoon working on the Manchester Show stand...

Ah okay

i am abit in no mans land at the moment - mag wise.

Thanks.

The next in-mag offer is money-off subscription plus a free QED Profile HDMI cable.

We'll also have some alternative, discount-based subs offers in the lead up to Christmas - look out for leaflet in the mag next issue, plus ads here online.

Thanks Clare, that one sounds better for me just had a look at it link here

If i got a 3d blu ray player for example one of the sony 3d ones would that cable be okay or would i need a 1.4 hdmi cable? because this cable appears to be 1.3 hdmi? i would not put it through my amp because i would not get the sound i would just use it separately for the 3d.

Thanks very much

I mean i have tried reading the manuel but it says nothing in there, tried the sony website but nothing, looked at shops selling the blu ray players but it does not say there.

I asked Max but did not understand 100% what he said, i think i do need a hdmi 1.4 cable for the 3d but can someone just confirm this for me?

Thanks alot

Yes you need 1.4 for 3D , but to be current go for a 1.4a one. 1.4a supports some additional top/bottom screen formats.

Hi,

Does anyone know if 3d blu rays are like blu rays in that if it said on the back UK then region a b and c, would that work on all of those regions then?

Thanks alot

Andrew Everard:The region coding system is the same for all Blu-ray Discs.

Thanks Andrew
