As the proud and nervous owner of a new Nagaoka MP-200, I'm wondering how people clean their needles? I've seen the Nagaoka ckeaning fluid. Has anyone used it? Are there any downsides, or things to avoid? What about brushing? I've also seen people using "magic erasers" to reportedly good effect. Anyone tried this?

I use this stylus brush from Clearaudio,

But thinking in buying this... :?

i use them both, but reverse Steve's frequencies. I've thinking of getting this http://www.analogueseduction.net/stylus-cleaners/vinyl-passion-dust-buster-stylus-cleaner.html to see how it compares to the Onzow.

The Onzow works well IMO, and it has a handy magnifier in the lid - you would be amazed to see the timy particles of dust on it!

Onzo Zerodust turned up today. 🙂

First dunk in the blob left a black mark - seems to me a better way of doing it compared to a brush!

My other half is out. I'm reliving my somewhat metallic teenage years (poor neighbours). Most of the records are 25+ years old and dirty. The Onzo is getting a good workout after every side!

I use one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audio-Technica-AT-637-Electronic-Stylus-Cleaner-/331516621076?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item4d2fee3114 *smile*

Having just installed my own Nag MP-200, I was thinking about getting a proper stylus cleaner, and seemed to remember people recommending some sort of gunk that you plop your needle down onto, so I did a forum search and find it's the Onkow Zerodust I want.

When I read this:

I read this as 'this is what I use every 10 or so seconds'! I thought, that's a bit over-the-top...

I'll get ordering a Zerodust then. Only the price of an LP, gotta be worth it I reckon if it works.

Magic Eraser. I've read a few glowing recommendations online, Thought I may give it a go on one of my older stylus, will report back.
