stuff/what hifi show at excel

AFAIK the show website is in the late stages of being built - as soon as it goes live we'll let you know.

Meantime the dates for the diary are October 31-November 2.

As Andrew mentions, we're just working on an official 'ta-da' launch for the Show - including a relaunched website for the event - but here's what I can tell you so far:

Friday 31st October - Sunday 2nd November

New, larger venue - ExCeL centre, Docklands

Highly tempting mix of hi-fi demo rooms, larger CE exhibits, stages, gadgets and features

Fantastic range of big-name exhibitors already signed-up (I could tell you, but i'd have to kill you...)

Lots of exclusive Show offers....

It's going to be a brilliant event, with the new venue giving us so much more space and scope. More news/updates once our colleagues in the exhibitions department press the 'Go' button on more coverage!

woo hoo......the area i work in has a global conference in edinburgh just before so might be tight for time.................ohhh just had a thought............wonder if anyone from the forum wanted to meet up for beers after the show......do you guys from the ed team stay over in the area or go home, you could come for beers too 🙂

I don't know if I should admit to this on these forums....... but I have never been to one of your shows

Is it mainly hifi or will there be a good selection of home cinema stuff as well ? Having only really heard one proper music system before (8k+ naim system, with a very nice vinyl set up as well) and my humble cinema set up(denon 2105+mission m33i cinema), I would love to see/hear some of the demo's. Maybe get a few idea's for a possible amp+speaker upgrade.

I take it it's well worth a visit ?

EDIT: Andrew or Clare have you thought about chocolate dvd's ? In Honour of the Pioneer that was tragically put down well before it's prime.

I hoped to get someone to take me for a beer at bristol...see here but there were no takers.
I did bump into Clare and said hello. I also saw Andrew and others hanging about the WHFSV stand but they were busy and I couldn't think of anythng to say anyway.

Most interesting! Us smaller companies could do with a little information on this. Hopefully it wont be byond the means of the smaller players to exhibit. If you really want little gems and surprises, this is where to look. Me too? not me! Where are Swiss watches made?

Hope it's a success as we could do with something that attracts more than just the enthusiasts (with all due respect to them of course).

Haider, companies interested in exhibiting can contact Event Presenter Gavin Collins for more information.

(Please don't email Gavin if you are intending to visit the show and want more info - we'll let you know all the details you'll need in plenty of time)
