still a hum from Rega Brio-R amps?

I want to match some wonderful KEF LS50 speakers with a suitable integrated amp and cd player, and after trying out a lot of entry-level amps realized that the next level-up Rega Brio-R seemed a good match. But I have read many reports of a perpetual background hum that is produced by the amp. Is this still a problem with the Rega Brio-R?

Great news from everyone, thanks! But then what was all this discussion all about (including feedback from Rega)-http://www.whathifi.com/forum/hi-fi/humming-buzzing-brio-r

Anyway, thanks everyone for very reasurring posts! I am back to looking at a purchase of the Rega Brio-r and Apollo-r combo, so you have each one helped a lot! They are very fine musical machinery. I also like their solid look. But the sound is the thing. They seem to be proundly musical but very honest as well - just like the KEF LS50's they will be connected to.

Well if you bothered to read the whole thread then you will find that some did and some didn’t.

My original one buzzed, the replacement didn’t. My take on it at the time from research elsewhere was that there was a problem with some units and I guess I was unlucky with the one I got. Hopefully it's no longer a problem, but if you're concerned ask your dealer to unbox it and hook it up just to make sure before you part with your cash.
