OK after lots of to'ing and fro'ing with regards my hifi set up I have decided to go for the above. I am also planning on using a pair of wharfedale diamond 9.1's

So now the amp...

Although she who controls the purse strings has agreed in principle budget is still quite tight so after reading various reviews I have narrowed it down to either the Marantz PM6002 or the NAD's C326BEE. Not much in them price wise so which would be the best?

Or if you have any other suggestions I am all ears

Cheers

Well you asked for other suggestions! How about pleasing her indoors even more and check out the Behringer A500 amp which is what I've been using for a couple of years now. From what I understand the Squeezebox duet has variable output so you don't actually need an integrated amp with an unecessary pre-amp section - just feed the Duet straight into the power amp using phono cables. A snip at 150 quid and yet it's a serious (but little known) high-end amp.
