Squeeze box duet and spotify

Got in today and squeeze pad app and the Logitech sever and the duet handset all hand updates. Everything went well playing music and then went to play a classic off spotify and I can't find the red 3rd party spotify app it's gone and I can't find it on advanced setting on the web and on the handset there is only a few 3rd party apps so I'm snookered without spotify as duet is not capable of playing the official app

Go to the bottom of the plugins setup screen. There is a list of 3rd party reposotories.

is what you need to add for Triode. (in the additional reposotories box at the bottom)

Was there yesterday not today I hand look on the web and handset and no spotify there can you give a web link

On advanced settings then plugins it is just showing active plugins only no way can I add one

I am hoping this will save people around 2hours who have a Logitech duet squeezebox and a spotify premium account .

After updating all your stuff the layout will change and it will lost the 3rd party apps. First uninstall the green spotify from your apps then go to your dashboard on your computer and right click the server shortcut and run as administer then when opened select advanced settings . Then you web will see a few opens across the top becareful not to miss them they are transparent select plugins and you will see active plugins this is the easy bit can fool you. You have to click one he word active and it will change to inactive and there is the troide spotify app once installed and the server restarted you can then reinstall the green geniue spotify app and use that as the troide one is needed to connect you .

I know all you are clever but it had me so if this helps one person then it's worth it .

The best part is I went from binning it and saving for a sonos back to my squeezebox is the best thing I have ever bought in the space of 30mins computer hifi is a roller coaster ride at least with CDs all that got nerves was when your mate left your best cd in a different case or worse n the floor of his bedroom and jumped when you got it home.

Can you do a screen dump? I have the option at the bottom to add.

You need to tick the box that enables 3rd part plugins...

The bottom of my plugins screen...scroll right to the bottom...

*edit. You sussed it nice one. Even if it went tho, a Squeezebox touch would be the logical choice as it supports the official plugin, although weirdly the official one works with my duet too

Sort of wished I went for touch now but I'm happy with it. Thanks for time frog somethings can wind you up that you miss the easy things.
