Went and blew the budget on a Unitiqute 2 and need some speakers. I have a set of 20 year old B&W 600is and think it will be interesting to see how they pair with the Naim. Im not too hopeful to be honest so have done some reserch on what speakers work well with the UQ2.

I like the Dyna Audio Emit M20 and also the PMC DB1 Gold (not hear either yet). Any other suggestions before i start looking more seriously?

Cheers in advance!

I'm using a pair of KEF LS50 with my Qute 2 and it sounds great.

However, my listening room is small (3 meters x 3 meters) and the speakers need a good 50 cm behind them otherwise I get a lot of bass boom.

I will be looking for a pair of new small speakers for my Qute soon and will be most interested in your findings and what you end up getting.

Where I jump in and suggest using the 'qute's pre outs to drive a pair of AVI DM5s?

No, thought not...*ok*

Go on do it Feel the full power of the dark side flow through you

Too busy, got a Death Star to build.

Though their ability to exercise great control over the bass would be a great advantage is a smallish room. Not that expensive either.

I think rainsoothe used focal aria 906's with his unitiqute to good effect although he did have the nap 100 added to it but I'm sure the qute on it's own would drive them fine.

I did, and imo they're amazing for the price. PMC db1 gold also sound nice, but needs some testing, as they do require some power to get the best out of them. Focal Aria 906, though, are really easy to drive. The new Revel Concerta M16 might also be worth an audition (only heard their Revel floorstanders and blew me away, but that's another story)

I really like this all in one printer, looks similar to osx Terminal with the homebrew theme. I imagine it will sound great with some obscene speakers. Enjoy :)

So went for some Satin White Dynaudio Emit M20s to go with the Unitiqute. All i can say its the sound is amazing and to top it off i got a decent discount on both items and the speakers only cost me £480.

Chuffed!
