I have just purchased a sonos system and I am very happy with it. I have my zp80 connected to my main living room hifi and the zp100 in my dining room. I have it connected to some old speakers borrowed from an old micro system so I need to get some new speakers.

The speakers are going to be on a side cabinet to the one side of the chimny breast so will have to be positioned close together and close to the wall. I don't really want to spend any more than £150-200 but if there are any cheaper speakers that are anygood even better. I would like them to be pretty small and good looking or just not to noticable.

Any suggestions would be great.

thanks.

Thanks for the suggestions, the MA Radius are £175 each not for the pair so they are too expensive, is there a smaller model radius that is cheaper. The other 2 suggestions look promising would they give me a loud enough sound for a 13' x13' room. thanks

I dunno about the prices, but you might wanna check out the wall speakers... I think wharefedale did a pair... that look exactly like picture frames but are speakers.

Certainly would win on the non-noticability front.

I don't really want wall speakers as every pair I have listened tp have been rubbish. They just don't offer a good enough sound. I have looked at some anthony gallo speakers and they look good but I don't know how they sound and if they are any good for stereo instead of in a sub sat system.

try a pair of these - i have them in my kitchen as wanted a really small set of proper speakers - Dimensions (HxWxD): 260 x 165 x 180mm - 3.8kg - and can't fault them - i use them with my Fatman Carbon - just bought a pair of Auralex MoPADs to allow me to angle them down as they sit on top of my kitchen cupboards and stands were never an option

I was planning on having a listen to the br1's as I have monitor audio in my main system so I suppose the signiture sound of the speakers may be similar to an extent. Has anyone heard the mordent short alumni 2 speakers, they look good in the piano black finish and would suit the room.

Would the sonos zp100 drive small floorstanders as I could move the placement of the zone unit to accomdate them, although this may be abit excessive for the room, it would give me another option?

ok I spoke to my local specialist shop I use and have been offered these speakers by the boss who I know.

1. Kef c1 for £100

2. Acoust Energy neo 1 for £100

I have not listened to these yet but will when I get chance to go up there. I just wondered If anyone had any opinions on these for my zp100. I have read a few good things about the neo 1's (although they may be abit big for what I wanted but could live with this if they were good and for that price) but the kef c series seems not very highly rated.

So has anyone listed to these?
