Hello, I decided to set up my first hifi system. It will be in my bedroom and will be used for movies and music.

My room size is 9 square meters. I went through forum and so I decided for stereo system. I've been looking at these speakers: Dali Lektor 2, MONITOR-AUDIO BX2, B&W 686 and wharfedale 10.1. Which do you recommend? They will be wall mounted. Still haven't decided which AMP should I get, but I'm thinking going for a second hand one for about 200€.

tnx, ryfee

The Dali Lektor 2 is an excellent choice, certainly very good value for money. If you could stretch your budget, the Mentor Menuet is even better.

I'd also add in the tannoy DC4 as well. Amazingly good speaker in smaller rooms. Big sound to go with them too.

Have you considered the likes of powered speakers such as the Audioengine A5's or EPOZ Aktimate Maxi's?

I owned the latter and they were fantastic...

I know that you say you're looking to wall-mount the speakers but is that essential?

If so I'd personally go with Q Acoustic 2010 or 2020's as they are designed with custom wall brackets also!

tnx, for replay :) i'll have a look at your sugestions, and i already have universal wall mounts, my only concern about that is that speakers will have a rear wall and as i've read forums, some spakers dont do well with rear wall. I've found one second hand amp for 200€, its HARMAN KARDON hk980mk, does anyone know anything about it?
