speakers for Nadc325bee

hey peeps

Need some speakers for my NAD c325bee amp.

Kinda hard to test out any speakers as there are no audio retailers nearby.

I want bookshelf speakers and budget is around £250.

I listen to all types of music frm classical to drum n bass.

I would like to have speakers with punchy bass.

I used to have that amp and would recommend auditioning the following:

Mordaunt-Short MS902i

Wharfedale Diamond 10.1

Monitor Audio BR2

I've not heard the 10.1s but I would expect they'd make a great match for the NAD.

I used several different speakers with it including the MS902is, the Diamond 9.1s and the BR2s. The Diamonds were a good match.

I've never quite settled with modern gear to be honest, although the NAD is the closest I've been. I've gone back to using vintage gear and I enjoy the music much more and with much smaller outlay financially.

so would u say the 9.1s stand out more than the ms and the br2s? there is a considerable price diff between the br2 and 9.1s so i would be saving a nice amount.
