Morning all,

Just curious what the differences are between the three AT-6012 brushes from Audio Technica?

I believe they are the AT-6012, AT-6012X and AT-6012XA.

Would also like to know where they can be purchased from via authorised dealers etc?

Many thanks,
Dan

Record brush mainly moves the dirt across the record & into the groove. Never used one in 40years
RCM only way to clean records , pointless buying records without cleaning them 1st
Clean records sound better , reduce static , lower record wear & extend stylus lifespan

A search for AT-6012 on ebay turned up a selection of outlets.

As you'd expect....

I’ve since ordered the 6012 but keen to look into the others but want to avoid eBay.

Did get the below back from AT in the mean time.

‘Thank you for contacting Audio-Technica.

The AT6012 is a product which we currently sell in the UK and EU territory, but we do not have the AT6012X, AT6012XA or AT6018 (these are not sold in this territory at this moment in time).

The AT6012 also includes the AT634a recording cleaning solution, this is also included with the newer AT6018a in their available territories (but the AT6012X and AT6012Xa do not come with this solution).

The AT6012 is a current product and is able to be purchased from our website here. We do also have standalone anti-static record brushes, the AT6011a and AT6013a, as well as AT6028as a more multi-use type product.’
