Speakers for music or home cinema ?

Hi all,

my first post.

I am looking for a advice because I am not sure what would be the best thing to do in my case.

I am looking for a pair of speakers but let me explain my situation:

I have a dedicated HIFI stereo setup with following components:

Yamaha AS500

Logitech Squeezebox

Rega RP1

NO speakers. IT is not used at the moment.

I have a home cinema setup with:

Onkyo NR616

Q acoustis 2010i ( surround )

Q acoustics 2070i ( subwoofer)

Q acoutics ??? ( center )

Focal Chorus 714

My dilemma is:

Should I use the Focals for music and try to find good speakers for my home cinema ?

Or keep the Focals in home cinema and look for new speakers for music ?

What would you do ?

My budget is 500. I am not looking to change my equipement, only to find good speakers either for home cinema or HiFI.

Room size for music is around 15m2, for home ciname is around 20m2.

I am considering - Q acoustics 2050i, Dali Zensor 5, Tannoy DC4T .

any suggestions, advice is appreciated.

Have you actually listened to the Focals linked to your Yamaha? I think that might answer one of your questions.
