Speakers for Marantz M-CR502

Dali Lektor 2's

I demo'd these with the Marantz system a few months ago at my local Audio-T and it's a brilliant little system

I also tried the B&W 685s but they didnt sound as good as I've always said; they need to be driven hard by a good amp to get them to their best

The Monitor Audio RS1's would be good though as well (2nd hand via eBay)

Thanks dan.

Although it doesnt help that my email has crashed and I'm waiting for the back-up to sort itself (hence why I've been on here a lot

Can anybody recommend what speakers to use with the above please?

Thanks

How many do you want?!

How about a little more on the sound you like to hear, what type of speakers you want (standmount or floorstanding), budget?

hi,

i bought this same cd player with integrated amp a year ago. this isn't choosy on speakers. i settled with bose 201. the bass isn't that deep so i added a wharfdale subwoofer. so far, im satisfied. if you don't want a sub, i suggest go for a pair of floorstanding. you may want to pair it with klipsch f-1.

Hi all, I'm desperate to upgrade my CR502's speakers - I'm currently using Tanoy F1 custom's and thinking along the lines of -

Monitor Audio BX2's
Diamond 10.1's
Lektor 2's

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

If you like warmer sound :Q-Acoustic 2020, Dali Lektor 2, Dynaudio Audience 42

Usher S 520 (highly detailed neutral sounding audiophile monitor speakers, ideal for classical music))

Mordaunt Short Aviano 1, Acoustic Energy Aegis Neo 1 , Monitor audio BX 2 for a very dinamic, open sound with strong, punchy bass, they are great with pop-rock. I suppose the Monitor A., and the Mordaunt S. can be a little bright with Marantz M-CR 502
