Speakers for Marantz 6003 system.

Hi,

I have bought a Marantz PM 6003 amp and CD 6003 CD player, which I am delighted with!

I am looking to replace my Acoustic Energy Aegis Evo 1 speakers.

I am considering either the Monitor Audio BX2's or the KEF Q300's.

My room size is approx 7m x 4m and I listen to rock and blues predominantly.

Your opinions are greatly appreciated!!

The Q300s are a good cut above the BX2s and work superbly with the Marantz amp. I would suggest a demo of the Q300s against the Monitor Audio RX1 - a much closer price/quality match and two different sounds to choose from.
