I have a Leema Elements Amp and find it to be fantastic. Mine is paired with Kef R500s and it's a match made in heaven.

I would strongly suggest shortlisting the KEF R100, R300 and R500. Buy the biggest of the three your room will take but a home demo is essential in a room that size.

I've heard the R300 with the Leema Elements and it has the same synegy with the Leema as my R500s, I'm assuming the R100s will have the same family sound.

Good luck, you're in for a treat.

Hi , not many people here own Elements amp , thank You for response . I"ve never considered KEF speakers maybe cos I don't like the way they look .

I like more that old school design :) but R100 would fit my bill and space as well . I'll keep an eye on ebay . How about LS50 ? is there any big difference in sound ? Are R100 or R300 warmer sounding speakers ?

If you are after warmer sounding speakers you could try and demo Pmc db1i bookshelf speakers .I run these through a leema pulse amp. They have a lovely rich sounding tonal quality.I demoed these side by side with kef ls50 and much prefered the pmc sound.I would recommend demoing first if you can and see if they suit your tastes.

How big is your listening room ? I was thinking about db1is I can have them for £600 in mint condition , I am not sure if Elements Amp will have enough power to show their full potential . How they sound on low listening volume ?

Hi,my room is approximately 3.5m x 8m .I have the speakers facing down the length of the room .speakers 7ft apart and listening position about 8 feet away .lemma pulse amp 80 watts per channel 8 ohms.I believe your amp is 60 watts.I think that would be enough to drive them.Low listening levels are very good.some people say with the kef ls50 you have to crank them up to hear them at their best.I used to own Leema xeros before and had to listen to them at about 10 oclock on the volume to get full benefit from them.where as pmcs i can get same detail at about 8 oclock on the dial.hope this helps.I paid £895 for mine about 6 months ago and am really happy with my purchase. But i did get the benifit of demoing them first.

If you type in a search for Leema pulse and pmc db1i.There was another member on here .boggit i think his name was bought a leema pulse and db1i and loved them http://www.whathifi.com/forum/hi-fi/leema-pulse-and-pmc-db1i-0

see if this link works .might be a worth while read for you.not the same amp as yours ,but doubt there would be a world of difference.

I am, and do!!

Read the thread and was thinking about posting.

I love my combo it sounds amazing but I'm know expert.

I have to say I'm drawn to the R100 and LS50 for the looks and hype

BTW my old Rotel RA04 40W drove the DB1i fine.

I've heard the LS50s with the Elements Amp and didn't like them at all. The LS50s are a very highly acclaimed speaker so I'm sure it's a synergy issue. I've only heard them with the Elements Amp but didn't like the sound at all. They had nothing like the magic synergy of the Leema with KEF R Series.

- And yes, the R Series is much warmer in my experience with the Leema amp.
