I went with the WHF recommendation at what I considered a sensible price - QED Silver Anniversary for the front three and Silver Anniversary Micro for the surrounds. ÿIt seems to work well - but, then again, I personally haven't been able to do a comparative test!

Yeah i went with the same as Sorreltiger with Qed airlocks, definetly worth getting the xt for fronts and centre. Not sure about Chord Carnival, might give you a little more bass, but look at the thickness can be tricky to run to the rears, depending on your layout. For me door frame had to be considered, and mirco was perfect for that easy to fit as its flexible and still delivers great quality at a reasonible price.Hope you are enjoying your Quads-Lites as much as i am, by the way if you require speaker stands Apollo A1s 7 or 9 at less than £50. Got my from A1 Sounds along with speaker cable cheapest at the time for the Qed airlocls at £3.95 each.

Yes - I chose XT for my fronts and with airlocs too. ÿThe carpet-fitters and electrician didn't have a problem concealing the micro cables. ÿI used the QED Cable Shop online - the price seemed as good as any and the cables came within two days. ÿI'm very pleased I went with the Quad L-ites. ÿThey were an absolute steal at the reduced price. ÿLike others, I decided later to add the 12L2s at the front so I now have a 7.1 set-up. ÿThe L-ite centre integrates beautifully still and I think its quality is amazing. ÿSpeech is crystal-clear, whatever the volume.

thank you for all your replies.i had mentioned the qed silver cables to the man in the shop but he said they would sound to bright. thats why i didn't buy them.it's interesting to hear that you all find them ok.the quad l-ites sound great with my free cable that i got thrown in but im having my skirting boards fitted this week, and need to up grade now before they are put on.
