speaker upgrades

hi all .

i,m thinking of upgrading my sfx 5.1 for a better system. i have found 2 sets that i like the look of but as we all know looks is not everything.

the choices are tannoy eyris av kit with eyris 1,r and the c speakers. no sub. costing £600 and the tannoy hts 101 5.1.costing £500.

i am keeping my onkyo 577 reciever i,m just a bit unsure of which would be a better sounding system. mainly used for the films

can u guys help me out with your expert opinions

Tannoy Eyris look the older of the two packages and bigger, i would image they might require a more powerful amp to get the best out of them.I would look at the Tannoy F1 customs as alternatives and a bit cheaper also 5* award winners which includes the sub.

thanks for that lobby but to be honest the wife dont like the look of them to much. anymore thoughts on another speaker
