Speaker suggestions.

Hi,

Can anyone suggest or recommend a paticular brand of speaker that will match well with an Arcam amp ? Or are there any that would be best avoided? There's only one hifi shop near where I live and they have a fairly limited stock making it difficult to demo anything new although they did very kindly offer to allow me to connect my amp/cd player to what they had.

Looking ideally for a floor stander or large stand mount to replace my Mission bookshelf jobs. Will probably end up buying used and have seen loads on ebay.

IMO Monitor Audio, Acoustic Energy, B&W and QUAD all gel very well with Arcam

Dali seem to do well as well but they really do need a good demo as they sometimes have a 'love/hate' sound for some people.

Also add Usher S-520 to the list. Fabulous with Arcam.

Dali and Linn work well with Arcam, you'll be as pleased as punch with the combo, Stiffy.
