Speaker Stands

Hi All, I have just taken delivery of the Q Acoustic 1010i speakers. Any one know if there are any generic speaker stands that these sit on or is it only the Q Acoustic ones. I stretched my budget to get them and need the best deal going, Cheers

scroll down to the Atacam nexus speaker stands, i have just ordered the B&W 684 home theatre speaker with these speaker stands. i did not think they would be high enough at first becasue they will go behind my sofa but if you select them you can then choose the relevent size, I went for the 100cm.

If you can wait a couple of weeks or so, there's a group test of stands underway for the April issue, out early in March.

I notice you have a B&W 685 Theatre, i wondered if you could tell me what you think of it

Soundstyle Z2 improved from amazon are a little superior to Atacama with a slightly larger top plate that should fit well with the Q Acoustics or Atacama Nexus 7 as they are taller if you prefer.

As a footnote, the Soundstyle website says the Z2's have "New top plate spikes and Q Acoustic 1010/1020 mounting holes".

I think it's great, and really maturing well. The rears are a little uninspiring, but as they're not as important for either dialogue or music, I can be forgiving. A really great package (although I don't (yet) have the B&W sub - my room is a bit too big, so would need the 610).
