Hello, I have read many times in the magazine and on this forum that the best way to setup a bookshelf speaker is on a speaker floor stand.. However unfortunately that seems to be for me a big no-no as my little 10month old girl, is so active that she would have those speakers either on the floor or on top of her in just enough time to blink your eyes. What other options do I have to mount a pair of B&Ws 685 for front and a pair of 686s for rear? Would it be OK to put speaker brackets on the wall? how does that compare acoustically to the floor stands? Thanks,

I think you have answered the question for yourself? Bubs is more important than acoustics. In other words, the boundaries have been set for you.
